As a wildlife biologist, educator, and author, I have spent over 50 years working to improve the environment and encourage people to connect more with nature and natural resource management. I have planned and designed hundreds of conservation landscapes and wildlife sanctuaries that exist throughout the United States and in a dozen other countries around the world. I have worked with thousands of people regarding wildlife and habitat conservation.
I am using this website as my primary writing forum. I will post regularly in the blog about places I have been and nature I have seen and experienced in the hopes that readers become motivated to get outdoors and have their own experiences in nature.
In addition, a couple of my projects are connected with some personal and family history, which includes writing about My Audubon Adventures as a book by that name. If you are interested in reading about my various conservation and environmental education exploits over the years when it becomes available.
Another family history project that I am pleased to be able to document is connected with my Dad’s experiences during World War II through a Blog titled “Letters from a Foxhole“. I very much hope you will visit this blog and sign-up for future notifications of posts that I make there.
If you have any questions or suggestions about places that I should visit please feel free to contact me.
